Normal map in maya using the maya usd plugin and usd preview surfaces

Hello all,

When loading usd files with normal maps into maya ( using “import” and “usdPreviewSurface” as the material, normal maps wont show up for me in the 3d viewport. Is this a known issue for maya?

I tried with these:

This is better asked in the Maya-usd GitHub discussion section, Autodesk is pretty responsive there.

It hasn’t been historically supported in Viewport-2.0, but is in other delegates, but this might have changed so better to ask Autodesk directly.
