OpenUSD v25.08 release candidate available on GitHub

Hi all,

The release candidate for OpenUSD 25.08 is now available on GitHub under the 25.08-rc1 tag. The CHANGELOG for this release is available here:

Version 25.08 is scheduled for release next Tuesday, July 29th. Please post any questions or feedback in this thread and file issues in our GitHub repository for bug reports.

Hi. all,

We’ve pushed back the release of v25.08 to try to address a reported regression (issue here) and include more documentation for the new OpenExec libraries. These changes have been published to GitHub and a new release candidate has been created with the v25.08-rc2 tag.

We now intend to publish v25.08 on Thursday, July 31st.
