Anyone has a usd with the new Gaussian splat feature?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently exploring workflows around Gaussian Splatting and had a quick question.

I’m specifically looking for assets or datasets using Gaussian splats, ideally compatible with USD workflows or the new UsdVolParticleField3DGaussianSplat feature.

If anyone knows where to find:

  • Sample Gaussian splat assets

  • Public datasets or test scenes

  • Example USD files using Gaussian splats

that would be extremely helpful.

Any links, resources, or shared files would be greatly appreciated!

There is a Python script to convert PLY files

Should work on most PLY Gaussian splats files in our experience

And I believe the Netflix Animation Studios ALab asset has been updated or will be updated soon with USD versions using the new particle fields schema , I’m just having troubles finding the link to the newest version.
