UV texture coordinates for built in UsdGeom quadric primitives?

I know I’ve complained about the lack of built-in texture coordinates/UVs for the equivalent of RenderMan’s quadrics:



And I remember there has been discussion that might get addressed at some point in the future…

Is there any guidance on when that might happen? Or maybe it did and I missed it?

It’s not on our roadmap, as we never use them in final scenes, but we’d be overjoyed to receive PR’s that add the documentation in the schemas, and manufacture the texCoords in the Hydra adapters (which means adding logic to the geomUtil helpers that mesh the quadrics for renderers that don’t support them directly, like Storm, Embree, etc).
