OpenUSD v26.11-alpha preview available on GitHub

Hi all,

Internal QA testing has begun for the upcoming OpenUSD 26.11 release. The code being tested is available on a new v26.11 branch on GitHub under the v26.11-alpha label.

This release we will be following the release branch proposal and hence an explicit v26.11 branch.

We are tentatively aiming to complete internal QA tests by the end of this week. Assuming all goes well, the v26.11 release candidate is tentatively scheduled to be published the following week with the official v26.11 release scheduled the week after that.

Hi @nvmkuruc,

We’ve decided to give that proposal a bit more time rather than rushing it into the 26.11 release during this alpha period. We plan to merge it into the dev branch after 26.11 lands, targeting a subsequent release instead.
