I work on Hydra at Pixar, it’s integration in USD (i.e., UsdImaging) and internal tooling at the studio and the Storm and Prman render delegates.
I’ve had the good fortune of seeing Hydra evolve from a single render delegate (Stream, the previous name for Storm) to the multi-input, multi-renderer beast it is today. These days, I’m mostly focused on Hydra 2.0’s scene index architecture.
