Hi everyone,

I’m currently exploring workflows around Gaussian Splatting and had a quick question.

I’m specifically looking for **assets or datasets using Gaussian splats** , ideally compatible with USD workflows or the new **UsdVolParticleField3DGaussianSplat** feature.

If anyone knows where to find:

- Sample Gaussian splat assets

- Public datasets or test scenes

- Example USD files using Gaussian splats

that would be extremely helpful.

Any links, resources, or shared files would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance 🙏

There is a Python script to convert PLY files

Should work on most PLY Gaussian splats files in our experience

And I believe the Netflix Animation Studios ALab asset has been updated or will be updated soon with USD versions using the new particle fields schema , I’m just having troubles finding the link to the newest version.

NAS just released a gaussian splat representation of the ALab: [ALab/docs/src/pages/gaussianSplat.md at main · DigitalProductionExampleLibrary/ALab · GitHub](https://github.com/DigitalProductionExampleLibrary/ALab/blob/main/docs/src/pages/gaussianSplat.md)

Lichtfeld studio allows you to train and output USD splats yourself:
